K.B. hired Temani Adams to assist him with a small matter. While that matter was pending, K.B. went on a date where he was accosted with a weapon, by his date’s, jealous ex-boyfriend. K.B. protected himself and his date. Despite the fact that he was defending himself, K.J. was charged with aggravated assault against both his date and her ex-boyfriend. After reviewing the police report, and speaking with the prosecutor about the facts of the case, Temani was able to successfully have K.B.’s bond reduced. Upon K.B.’s release, Temani was able to obtain witness information that proved that both “victims” lied. The grand jury saw things Temani’s way, and no-billed both charges.
